Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026 — Beta/Tester Version
Klaro ("we," "us") is currently in a closed testing phase. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it while Klaro is in beta. This is a placeholder document and will be replaced with a formal privacy policy, reviewed by a licensed professional, before public launch.
Information we collect
- Account information: the name, email address, and password you provide when creating an account.
- Information you enter into Klaro's tools: this may include business details, pricing information, client or contact information (in Lite CRM), call notes (in Call Sheet), quotes, and business plan content you choose to enter. This data is stored so it's available to you across sessions and devices.
- Usage information: which tools you've used, when you last logged in, and whether you redeemed a tester invite code. During the beta period, this may be visible to the Klaro team for the purpose of improving the product and understanding tester feedback.
- Free tool email capture: if you use a free tool without creating an account, we may collect your email address if you choose to provide it.
How we use this information
- To operate your account and save your data between sessions.
- To understand how testers are using Klaro, so we can fix problems and improve the product during this beta phase.
- To contact you about your account, updates to Klaro, or the tester program.
- We do not sell your information to third parties.
- We do not currently display third-party advertising.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored in a database associated with your account. We take reasonable steps to protect it, but no system is completely secure, and as an early-stage beta product, Klaro has not yet undergone a formal security audit.
Payment information
Klaro does not currently process real payments. Any subscription access during the beta period is granted via invite code, not a paid transaction. If and when real payment processing is introduced, this policy will be updated to describe how payment data is handled (typically via a third-party processor such as Stripe, which would handle card details directly).
Your choices
- You may request that your account and associated data be deleted at any time by contacting us at the email below.
- You may cancel your account/subscription at any time from account settings.
Changes to this policy
Because Klaro is in active development, this policy may change as features are added, including real payment processing and a permanent business domain. We'll update the "last updated" date above when that happens.
